The Ribbon Cutting
SAS was proud to attend Oak Trace’s Grand Opening of the new Independent Living Apartment and Commons buildings which opened it’s doors this Spring. This wonderful event, hosted by Oak Trace, featured wonderful food + drinks, great friends and a lot of smiling faces.
This celebration marked the completion of the final phase of the repositioning project which started in 2015 with the replacement of the Health & Wellness Center. SAS Architects was fortunate to be part of the Oak Trace Community for nearly a decade to help them redefine and reimagine their community.
We would like to thank our wonderful clients, Lifespace Communities and the Oak Trace Senior Living Community, for allowing us to be part of this amazing journey. It took a lot of hardworking and creative people to make this possible including the design and construction teams. We would like to thank Greenbrier Development (Developer), Walsh Construction (General Contractor), Interior Design Associates (Interior Designer), Teska Associates (Landscape Architect), GeWalt Hamilton (Civil Engineers), Scopos Hospitality Group (Food Service Designers), Steen Engineering (MEPFP Engineers), McClure (Structural Engineers), WT Group (Pool Consultant), and Direct Supply (Low Voltage Engineers). We would also like to thank the amazing residents and staff at the Oak Trace Community for welcoming us into their homes and having the patience to endure this long journey.
Stay tuned this week for some professional photography of Oak Trace interiors and some photos of the exterior building and landscaping later this Summer!
