For everyone who has not lived through a construction project, let me tell you….IT IS A COMPLETE PAIN IN THE…office!
But we deserve this! We make our living by designing buildings which seek to improve people’s lives and the spaces they experience, but in order to do so, we must also temporarily disrupt them. It is appropriate that we suffer through the construction process in order to give us some well-deserved perspective.
We are well on our way through Phase I of construction, and we are all excited to see more progress, less dust and the exciting things coming. It seems like every day we are getting closer to our goal of having a collaborative office environment to match our collaborative design style. See below for some construction progress photos alongside their prospective design renderings, showing the same view once it is complete.
Phase I also includes the complete build-out of our back room, which will feature our interior design department, additional work stations and an area to showcase project finishes. Our interior design library will now feature an adjustable light source which will assist in color selections by providing accurate color temperatures for the environment that the materials will ultimately be installed. This dynamic light source and open style material library will aid in collaboration between our interior designers and clients for material and color selections.
Once Phase I is completed, we will be moving into these two areas so that the remainder and larger portion of the office where we work now, can be completed. We CANNOT WAIT to unveil our new office to our friends, colleagues and families and are so thankful for everyone who has contributed to this project thus far. We are looking forward to showing more progress in the next few weeks. Stay tuned and bring your hammer if you would like to lend a hand!
