Project Info

Following a successful project to update the main atrium with new finishes and furniture, Trustmark asked SAS to develop a master plan and re-stack for their existing 4-story building. The master plan addressed the following design consideration; create an open office that balances increased visibility and mitigates noise, maximize openings and increase interior connections to the central atrium, reduce the number of private offices and increase daylight, increase and disperse meeting spaces throughout the office areas, and consolidate departments by complementary functions. After developing the master plan, SAS was then tasked with creating a prototype and test fit for two departments on the 4th floor, which are representative of other departments. New furniture and finishes were selected, with considerations for usability and a much needed update to the overall aesthetic of the office spaces. Pepper partnered with the design team and provided preliminary pricing for budgeting purposes, to allow ownership to plan and prioritize next steps.
